These boys really are too cute to have such awful names. So I'm having a contest to name the kitties. Leave your name ideas as a comment to this message. Steve and I will pick our faves, but everyone who sends a name will be placed in a drawing for a little gift pack. With yarn. As will the folks who provide the perfect names.

This is very obscure, but I was at a performance on Friday of a modern epic poem on the subject of the Battle of the Plains of Abraham (between England and France for control of Canada in the early 18th century) and the poet used as his formulaic epithets for the two main generals "red-haired Wolfe" and "dark Montcalm". So I'll suggest Wolfe and Montcalm (though I'll completely understand if you dismiss me as a crazy woman).

We once had a golden retriever that we named "Ollie," his brother was owned by our neighbor and he named HIS dog "Stan," the first names of the old comedy duo "Laurel and Hardy."
Given that one's dark and the other light, how about something like Mocha and Cream.
