I've been remiss in my ABC-Along-ing, so today's blog is sponsored by two letters: B & C.
From B we get baggage
which we used on our wearing month of travels in pursuit of the fruits of C--a Contract with a College for a new stage in my Career.
Of course, this will effect a C-change in life (I couldn't resist--apologies to Shakespeare). Perhaps I'll let 2 big C's (also known as Johnny and June) tell you about it.
Yes, I know the song is about a troubled relationship, and yes, it may be about Jackson, TN, but it's just such a catchy tune...
Steve and I will be moving to Jackson, MS this summer, where I'll be joining the faculty of Millsaps College. I can Barely Control my excitement about this Brilliant Career opportunity!

Congratulations!
I'm a former Millsaps student, although I never completed my degree (I hope to one day when my son is a bit older). I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I grew up in Jackson! lived there from age 6 to 21 :)
Please let me know if you want any tips on the area; my mother still lives there, and I'm down there a few times a year ;)
